Perfect for Ender 3 motor cooling.

They work fantastic and they dissipate the heat well. The tape is also very sticky, no worry about sagging and falling off

Very handy for hot stepper motors

I recently replaced the extruder mechanism on my 3D printer with an all metal mechanism and the hot stepper motor caused the filament to soften and break in the extruder after an hour of printing. . Attaching two of these to each visible side of the motor seems to have fixed the issue, and the filament no longer breaks internally.

Quick and easy for fans and cooling

Holds up pretty well and seems to lower VRAM temps on my RTX 3090s (which cover the metal backplate on MSI and Zotac models) by about 4-5C GPU temps to have. down by 1-2*. A bit expensive compared to Alibaba, Banggood or whatever, but 2 days delivery time is good. This should greatly extend the life of the 3090 and is totally worth the time and money invested.

GPU Back Cooler 3080

I put these on my 3080 to keep memory temp down, it worked! I didn't bother gluing them to the back as I didn't want to risk etching/contaminating the back for future use. but even just mounted on the GPU, it lowered the temperature! the heatsinks get pretty hot (which is good, draws heat away from the GPU) and HWInfo shows a drop of about 6 degrees under load! It's worth it!

Small size perfect for Garmin Dashcam

Easy fix for chronic overheating issues I had with Garmin Mini Dashcam. The device caught a lot of sunlight, warmed up and turned off. The heatsink was perfect for mounting on the back of the camera. The adhesive is strong and seems to conduct heat well as the fins get hot and the camera won't turn off. Very happy with this product.

I tamed a notoriously hot T7

I taped two of these onto a 2TB Samsung T7 which I use this external storage on PS5. The T7 is notorious for getting very hot, a lot hotter than its predecessors. I took them thinking they would help avoid throttling. And they do. They disperse heat easily and definitely help improve sustained performance. I see it in 3/4 way download and upload speeds. Previously, the T7 would stutter at the end of a long boot. It's just not now. It's worth thinking about. Just be careful where you stick these

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
