Over the last few years I've bought 3 different BaBylissPRO curling irons and I've generally liked them except they keep breaking. The problem is always the on/off button. It works fine for the first couple of months or a few months, then slowly, the power button doesn't register unless you press it very hard or several times, and then eventually it stops working fully. Now I don't have a curling iron because they all died the same way. The last one I bought only lasted 8 months before dying. I

So far, so good! - Hair Care

Two weeks ago I bought a 1 inch under the shoulder straightener to use for loose curls as my hair has grown back. My stylist used this particular straightener on my hair at my last appointment and a stylist friend also recommends this brand. I have used it several times and am very happy with the quality of curls this straightener gives me. The heat is distributed fairly evenly across the stick. I get strong curls whether I curl my hair closer to the end of the wand or closer to the heater…

DO NOT BUY - BREAKS QUICKLY

When I first got it I was happy with the look of the curls. However, the item has a funny smell when heated and always turns off by itself when curling. After about 10 uses it stopped heating completely. I can't make it blink red and it doesn't get hot. It is not worth.

  • Beautiful packaging

I like this iron but it doesn't last long

I like this iron but it doesn't last long. I've bought it twice in the last year now and both times they broke. The cord broke off the handle the first time. This time while using it the screws came out and the handle fell off. Consider buying again as it is the third time. I could just buy a really good curling iron for the price of three.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Good but not great

I stopped heating after 1.5 months.

I only ordered this product 1.5 months ago and it stopped heating completely. The red/green flashing item to indicate it's still heating will just keep flashing. It looks like new and has only been used properly a few times and is now completely unusable. Unfortunately, I also missed the return window by a few weeks, so $30 is a waste of money.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • dull packaging

Very Disappointed: Styling Tools and Equipment

I am disappointed with this curling iron. I've had it for a year and a half and every time you turn it on the red and green light will flash until it reaches the right temperature. then lights up green and everything is fine. So the lights seemed to stop flashing for a long time and I started using it thinking it might be almost hot enough. I have a surprise in my life. I quickly twirled my hair and heard a crackling and burning of hair. I immediately burned a strand of hair. As it turned out…

How to avoid burning your hair while traveling!

After a very serious "incident" with my hair during a business trip with a US-only curling iron, I had to switch quickly. (Note: ladies beware! Only 110v curling irons used in 200v countries will burn your hair if you only use it with an adapter, not a transformer! Please don't learn this the hard way like me!) I bought a transformer with my travel adapter for my next trip and found that the 110v curling iron just didn't work well with the transformer installed. I don't know why, but for some…

  • An absolute legend

A good curling iron works great.

I love this curling iron. It heats up quickly with more than enough heat settings and gives me a long lasting curl without a lot of hair product. I have very short hair, the size is perfect for my hair. The only problem with this curling iron is the position of the switch. I'm left handed and always turn it off when curling my hair. I don't know if it has anything to do with being left-handed. I would recommend this curling iron to anyone who wants long lasting curls at a great price.

  • Impressive

MY HAIR IS BURNED!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PRODUCT! I'VE USED CHEAPER AND MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS AND THIS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME! FIRST USE. I LET IT WARM, IT WAS A MEDIUM TEMPERATURE. I WENT TO GET THE FIRST PERM AND SAW MY HAIR ATTACKED THE ROD. THEN I SAW IT MELT ON THE TOP AND MY HAIR WAS ON THE IRON! My hair still smells burnt! NEVER AGAIN!

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
