Fresh air is always good.

Mounted on Jeep Wrangler LJ Rubi. Fits well, has a nice growl and with the AirRaid throttle body spacer the turbo kicks in a bit around 2500rpm. But it's a Jeep, so it doesn't have a Tokyo drift, but it does react when it needs to. Not sure about gas savings but if you're trying to save gas in a jeep don't buy one and upgrade to a V8.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Looks great! fits filter

I installed this on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It took me about 30 minutes to install. One clamp was too big but it was for the PCV valve so it wasn't a problem. It looks good. The engine began to be more responsive and run smoother. Jeeps can be sluggish, but this intake system takes some of the goo off! Now I use the gas pedal less. I also installed a Banks Monster Cat-Back before installing the intake system. Both work very well together.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Hear that howl! - Air intake

Easy installation, just remember to hook the nuts in the wheel arch when unbolting the existing filter housing. Removing the existing air sensor is easier than removing the existing hose. You can see a small tab that you need to press down on to unscrew the air sensor. After connecting, take a test ride to heat up all the parts. ; hear the howl of the air intake with WOT (Wide Open Throttle); Go back, check the connections and you're done. I'm not sure I'm getting any measurable fuel economy…

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
