🚀 Boosted Performance with Banks 51306 Torque Tube System Review

I'm not sure why people have trouble installing them. Installed on Jeep Wrangler 04. Remember to loosely install the two lower front screws first, after adding the intake manifold, tighten them. You cannot tighten the bottom screw #2, VFT. The #1 bottom bolt can be tightened with a connecting rod and an extension. I definitely recommend this product.

Header is expensive but I think you get what you pay for here. Banks are well known in the industry and are working as advertised. As for ease of installation, forget it. The position of the tube in relation to the bolts makes access to it very difficult. I had to use a wrench under the manifold to tighten the internal bolts. This is PITA, so I'm very happy with it.

The headlines were great. Not an easy install, but it's not the company's fault, it's the Jeeps. I had to do this twice because it was hanging from the back by a bobby pin. Make sure the manifold is fully seated before tightening all screws. Tighten all the screws with screws and slide the manifold into place. I removed the left engine mount to help but not the fender. It is doable but requires LOTS of PATIENCE. Great fit sounds great.

Fits a 2001 Jeep Cherokee I bought this after my cheap header broke out with an O2 connector due to poor welds. This is a huge improvement. Welds look strong inside and out. My old manifold had problems with the intake manifold clearance, this is curved slightly differently and is easy to clean. Installed on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee when replacing a cracked head. Installation was easy with my head on my workbench, but can be tricky if you install while it's on, but not impossible. I don't know why they even give torque specs when you can't even get a torque wrench on most of the bolts so I just tightened them up until all the bolts were really tight and I had no problems. The quality of the welds looks like this. I was hoping for a slightly better quality in terms of "performance" of the update. I can already say that I will replace this with cracks in the future. Looking inside, the stitching isn't very thick and everything converges at a weak point. Installation was tedious and required sanding and sanding of the front of the manifold.
