no different from the original BF.

I loved the original BF and have been using it for years because it has so many uses. I bought this particular 'subspecies' to use on the bottom of my Circulon pans in hopes it would remove the brown build up on dirt caused by contact with my dreaded glass cooker. I will admit that I am NOT religious at all when it comes to cleaning the bottom of the pan or the scourge of the hobs. It works out? The answer is a qualified "YES, but NO". Using elbow grease, the dishwashing cleaner removes the…

Wonderful. made my burnt pans look new again

This is an amazing product that can do wonders for your burnt pans. However, you may need to be more aggressive than the guide says. We had two All Clad pans that were badly burned and changing color from light to dark brown. Burnt out and I was contemplating throwing them out and getting new ones until I heard about this product (mentioned on the All Clad website under 'Care of Pots/Frying Pans'). I spent 30+ minutes cleaning with a soft cloth/sponge and made such slow progress that I finally…

Excellent Stainless Steel Cleaner

This makes my stainless steel cookware much cleaner than regular soap and water. I can soak and scrub the pot in soapy water overnight and still show residue. But a 30 second wash with Bar Keeper's Friend and she's perfectly shiny and clean. Simply spray the pan with water, pour in some BKF, rub into a paste for a few minutes, and then wash out. hands off. Skin contact is safe, don't get me wrong, but I'm much more comfortable working with oxalic acid when there's a little protection.

Pros
  • KITCHEN USE: Best way to clean stainless steel pots and pans, glass bakeware, baking trays, oven door insides, stubborn stains on kitchen surfaces.
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Works like magic! for household cleaner

My husband decided to leave his fried food in our stainless steel pots for a few days without soaking them and then immediately popped them in the dishwasher to burn the stains even more! I soaked and soaked and cleaned and cleaned for days and was heartbroken because I thought my pans were ruined! As a last resort, I googled how to remove melt stains from stainless steel and this material kept coming up. So I bought it from Revain & WOW! It worked like magic! Now I really had to make a paste…
