Five ordered, two had problems.

5 of them bought in one year. They are fast, accurate and have a beautiful design. Two had issues, one just stopped working after 6 months, the blue ring light on the top is lit but the white LEDs don't go out and the unit is unresponsive. Another failed speaker after a few months. I replaced it with a small 1W speaker of the same size. The speaker is "wired" to the circuit board which is very convenient, no soldering was required to replace it. Since then it has worked flawlessly.

Great scanner - with a suggestion for the manufacturer

Bought a scanner for the pathology lab to test and may have bought more. So far the customer is very satisfied. The only thing they wanted was the ability to install it under or behind their monitors so they could scan documents throughout the day. The manufacturer should consider making it flexible by offering a mount/case for those who want the device to be tilted or mounted so that it faces downwards. We can't mount them behind monitors as our monitors have a curved surface on the back, so…

Setup was very easy, just plug it in

Purchased for use in an educational environment. Our students and teachers come and go for courses and workshops. Used regularly by 70-100 people a day and so far without any problems (about 2 months in use). Setup was very easy, just plug in, scan a few setup codes and our attendance software is up and running. Our customers have different levels of digital skills, and those who previously struggled with our entry-level handheld scanner have been very happy with the upgrade. Reads laminated…
