Bates Rollers Roller Covers Painting Review

This is the perfect size for my use but I only get a limited quantity of 1. They stop holding color after a few areas. I run them so fast that it's no longer cost effective. If you only want to use them for water, they will work, but paint won't.

and it was great! I needed to paint my front door and the 4 inch rolls are perfect for this and it was exactly what I wanted and needed. Does not flake, rolls smoothly and holds color well. I wet them before use and squeeze out as much water as I need. You can use a towel and this will minimize spillage. I didn't notice anything. Great product and I'm glad I bought it. 👍👍

I would never buy again and would not recommend. The roller does not fully rotate in the paint, so the cover is never covered with paint. 2 feet because it gets all flat and then the fluffy starts, now you have to stop and take the fluffy off. Not worth it, don't waste your money.

This is my first time using this type of roller and they do what I expected. A roller went through eight closet doors. Two coats of primer on each side, two coats of paint on both sides and two coats of polyethylene on both sides. I just got rid of it afterwards. In order not to ruin my project, I used a piece of masking tape to remove loose hair before using. I would buy them again.

I bought these cheap rollers to make fence posts. The post is made out of 2x4's so I figured a small roller would do the job and I would paint the wood before building the post to make life easier. I just finished drawing them and they turned out fantastic. I only used one roll but it worked great. I haven't had lint problems like some people do. For the past 27 years I have tried every product I could find to paint wrought iron railings. Most of these specialty products are free. This roller and covers are the ONLY way I will be painting these railings in the future. The reels spin freely, hold plenty of paint (I used Rustoleum) and have nice coverage. I think roller hair helps with coverage compared to foam rollers. This kit requires no extra pressure to apply paint, making the job less gruesome. It's still not a fun project, but this
