Terrible! I bought them a year ago and have already thrown them all away because they leaked battery acid from batteries. So dangerous! I have attached photos of the last two being discarded. I've used different brands of batteries so this isn't a problem. I assumed the first pair was an accident, but it definitely looks like a design flaw is causing this issue. I don't know why this product has such rave reviews. I'm skeptical of other reviews based on my experience.

I've only used a string of these lights but I'm very happy with them. Battery life (3 AA batteries, non-rechargeable) has not decreased at all. Batteries did not have to be changed (I use about 3 weeks). The timer cannot be set. When you turn on the light, it stays on for 6 hours and then off for 18 hours.
