Installed without problems, but does not always work, you have to remove the key and reinsert it and then the car starts. Although the price was good!

This was a perfect replacement for the original ignition in my 2003 Tacoma Prerunner. I'm a 76 year old male with some mechanical ability and had no problem adjusting the switch in under an hour. I recommend watching the installation video on the internet.

Perfect fit for my '96 Toyota Tacoma. They removed the old part, installed the new one, and the truck was up and running in about 30 minutes. The only bad thing is that I now have two keys for the truck (1 for the ignition, 1 for the doors). Excellent bang for your buck 5 STARS!

He did his job well. It slid right in and I was able to start my truck right away. It looked exactly like the one I replaced so I could replace the ignition lock cylinder that I had already replaced. The key and cylinder don't feel as "hard" as the original parts I replaced, but they fit and work perfectly. Great price and very fast delivery. it was sent and delivered earlier than expected. I'm only taking off one star because of the cheap quality. Search YouTube for a video on how to access and replace a cylinder and you're done. This is very easy if you know how to twist with a screwdriver.

WILL NOT fit 2002 4runner Limited. The ignition cylinder body that contains the light ring also has a security sensor for the REMOTE KEY, which it is NOT. In addition, the lock cylinder has a completely different fit due to the light ring and sensor housing. The only workaround is to move the display (inside the dash) while your old key is attached in the ring. You can't just turn it off or 4Runner won't start.
