Doesn't work stays open all the time

Unfortunately I didn't need it right away so I put this into my aeroponics system today and it doesn't stay open all the time it's nothing more than the proverbial clutch for 10. Get it elsewhere, I can't return mine as it's 4 days outside the return window. I had 2 more in my shopping cart and was glad I hadn't bought them. I'll be using about 20-40 of these over the next few months, but there are better ones out there.

Pros
  • Enjoys it
Cons
  • Discontinued

I have a 0.02-1.00MPa model and they still leak in the closed state. Also, they are not normally closed (NC) as shown in the video. When I remove power from the solenoids, all of the solenoids leak water. This is a normally open (NO) design. Very disappointed with this purchase as it does nothing of what is advertised other than a cheap clutch.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

All Burnt This Valves

This is a Solenoid. The solenoids require a higher current to activate and then a much lower current to stay open called the holding current. If you apply 12 volts to the valve and just leave it there, it will get hot. The hotter it gets, the higher its reliability. goes to the toilet. This applies to all solenoids except when their active time is very short, which is not normally the case with a water valve. I recommend the Texas Instruments DRV120 driver IC. I do not recommend controlling…

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Out of Fashion
