Makes food fun (not trendy, danceable)

I was very upset that I couldn't use it. They impart a strong smell and flavor to whatever you wrap them in. They work the way they're supposed to wrap around and stick together, but I can't eat anything that's been in them for more than 12 hours.

This is my first time trying this product and I really like it

I tried these products for the first time and I really like them. Multiple sizes are handy. The packaging gently adheres to itself to fully protect the food. So far I've used them for cheese, onions and bread. They are easy to clean and smell great! I feel good not throwing away plastic sandwich bags.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Easy work in kitchen and dining room

I don't usually write reviews but I love this product! I've tried other brands of beeswax wraps in the past, some of them were too harsh and smelled bad. I ended up throwing them away. This set is the perfect size for my kitchen needs, from bread to half an avocado. It is very easy to work with him. I love the smell of beeswax! Just bought a muffin. Highly recommended!

An essential item for your kitchen.

This is so cool. They keep food as fresh as cling film but without the plastic taste and zero waste. They are easy to wash with cold water. My only bummer is that I used it to wrap bread and made the mistake of slicing bread on it and the wrapper cuts very easily. It was my own fault. The packaging is strong, just don't cut it :) Eliminated the need for plastic wrap for our home.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons

Comfortable and better for the planet

These are my favorite wax picks so far. They're just the right thickness to be used almost immediately and stay securely wrapped all day. The size of the loaf is perfect for a rustic loaf. We've found that other sizes are also handy for taking groceries to work for lunch, including the smallest size perfect for cookies or crackers, and the medium size for a sandwich. They're easy to fold and bring home, and there's no guilt about using plastic! I thank the company for the thoughtful design…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Fine, but mind you, good for storage and organization

I like these, but there are a few things you need to know to really take advantage of them. Firstly, in no case should you wash them with hot water. It destroys them. To clean, I pour dish soap (just a small spray) directly on them after wetting them with cold water and rub them with my hand and a non-abrasive sponge for stuck parts. They air dry fairly quickly. In addition, they do not stick together well if the air is too dry. No problem, hold them in your hands (wrapped around your food) for

Leaves a sticky residue; discourages family members from using them

I may not have paid much attention to them, but they weren't easy to use. I bought them with the intention, like everyone else, to stop buying all those plastic bags that end up filling our trash can. But after rinsing them off with soap and water a few times, they just turn into this sticky, paper-thin rag. This is very rough to handle. Even when I placed them on a granite countertop to fold them before storage after drying after rinsing, I noticed that this sticky residue was left on the…

I'm glad I'm saving the earth from hundreds.

recycling reduces reuse. I'm glad I'm saving the earth from hundreds of plastic sandwich bags I would use. Don't wash with very hot water, you could melt the wax on the wrap. I use wraps for my husband's daily packed lunch. He loves to wrap chips in one. I showed him how to assemble the corners and make a chip basket. The warmth of your fingers seals the packaging well. We have used them for a year so far and they are in great condition. They crack at the edges but I just cut the strings. I…

The wax has come loose. Update - they are like new again.

I wanted to write and update my review. I emailed the company who responded quickly and said I must have exposed them to heat. They recommend putting the wraps in the oven on a low heat for a few minutes to allow the wraps to fully return to their original state. I am very happy. I love the idea of these beeswax food wraps and have been excited to use them as soon as I got them. I liked them a lot at first and still like them, but unfortunately the wax on the two I use most often "cracks" and…
