The audiophile passive preamplifier

Excellent passive HIFI pretense, without sound distortion and solid, pleasant design. The real deal for the audiophile world.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

A great way to directly connect the components

really clear sound. Connect your components to it and then directly to the amplifier. A connection is required for phonographs.

Pros
  • costs your money
Cons
  • there are other interesting options.

Good product for home audio

Works as intended. Slightly dampens the BSSS response. This problem is exacerbated if the volume is reduced further than about 12 hours. I use a decent 12 inch RCA cable from the unit to the amp. Recommended <18 inches. I am satisfied with the performance of this product and it offers more input than Schiit Sys.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Compatibility

Bravissimo! According to the preambles of

, when adding such devices to my desktop system, I expect the "do no harm" approach, I don't want to add coloring or minimal noise level, etc. In light of this I have to say the following. It's a home game! I don't use it as a source switch but as an output switch. MAC in DAC in PP532 in two different headphones for headphones (SS and Tube) and amplifier for desktop speakers. Bravissimo Bellari, Bravissimo!

Pros
  • , like everything still
Cons
  • , protection

Steve Guttenberg the music lover was right - this device is amazing!

This great little passive preamp replaced my Schiit Audio SYS. I liked the device when I first bought it, but over time it became a disappointment. At $49, it worked as a temporary fix, not a long-term fix. This Bellari is a whole different story. The fit and finish, build quality (material), volume control precision, and ease of use were all top-notch. I used it for the first time last night and it was a pleasure to use. As befits a passive preamp, it didn't add its own sonic signature. Yes…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Serves its purpose

Bought this to switch between the dedicated DACs and Focusrite Scarlet (and yes I know this is a DAC too). I wanted to use a dedicated DAC for music and Focusrite to record and play the guitar through a PC. PP532 is connected to a topping headphone amplifier, which in turn is connected to headphones or powered speakers. It works fine for this purpose and I can't tell if there's any degradation in signal or audio. The case is well complex (fairly thick metal), and the volume knobs and inputs…

Pros
  • High ratings from testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Neutral

It's such a great shade of red.

Update; 09.06.19. The volume finally got right and stopped making noise. I don't know what or why, but now the device works fine. Can't complain it works 100% as intended, it makes NO noise in the system and the volume control works fine even after a very long pause. I really want to love this device because it is durable and has such a pleasing hue. red. It has so many inputs, is very versatile and comes at a really great price. I've been using it consistently on my desktop for months. The…

Good budget passive controller.

I was looking for a decent passive controller to use as a line level attenuator between my DAC and the built in amplifier (due to sensitivity differences) and decided to buy this Bellari "preamp" to try. I love the build quality, fit and finish. Sounds really good too. Doesn't change the sound too much like the cheap crappy one I originally had. I would like bigger buttons on the front and a second exit, maybe a fixed passage or even an adjustable one. Definitely a keeper and we'll be worth the

  • Good product for the price
