Works best on shock absorbers, struts and suspension

They're stiff, but you expect them to hold up the hood. I have to pull down quite hard to make them move to close the hood. Easy to install, just paste them after removing the old ones.

I only had them a week ago. The installation went quickly. They appear sturdy and well made. The hood had sufficient lift. Great, but I've really only used it once. I hope they last as long as the factory ones.

GOOD PRICE, HOOD stays on NO PROBLEM

The original hood struts have become weaker and no longer support the hood. Your shelves work great. The cost hasn't been critical and if they do what they're doing now for another 10 years or more I'll be happy.

Unless you have a special tool do not remove the clips from the new ones

Loved this item, don't know why the instructions show how to remove the metal clips I only removed 1 thank god it isn't For the installation I only needed a rubber mallet to knock out the old ones and insert the new ones

Excellent product, best parts

I bought these for my two 2006 Dodge Rams 1500 quads (regular) with a short box. The originals no longer held hoods. In total, each car took about 5 minutes. Very strong. Now hoods holds too well! :) Definitely worth the price. High quality and came as expected.

Great product - lifting legs

I recently purchased a Beneges bonnet lift kit. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to install and how much lift these mounts provide when I lift the hood of my Dodge Ram 1500 05. Installation took less than 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering replacing the hood stays on their vehicle.

Why did I wait so long!?! Perfect fit for my Dodge Ram 1500 05.

Why did I wait so long?!? I used a head or a piece of wood to support the hood while checking the oil and coolant levels for too long. This inexpensive item is easy to install. The hardest part was getting the old ones off. All in all I installed both in less than 5 minutes. Boy oh boy these things work! Now you really have to make some effort to close the hood. Don't hesitate to pick up some of these. Worth it!
