Protective pad is too rough on food

This is a great tool and it's very sharp - the nozzle needs work, it's a bit rough on food and will damage it a bit. Luckily I still had one of my old mandolins so it's fine but I've seen how this can be a problem for delicate products.

Good choice for a mandolin

Love it. bought another model but sent it back because it was uncomfortable and the blade wasn't sharp. Read some information about mandolins and realize that this one has great reviews. Great design and cuts effortlessly. I love using it and my husband tried it and was amazed at how awesome it is!

I could probably live with discolored plastic, but the blade discoloration makes me wonder what material is used for it. Is it safe to use? I'm not sure. Has anyone had a similar experience and can the…

Poor quality, boring, dangerous

I cook a lot and needed a new mandolin and found it at Revain with good reviews. Too bad someone didn't write what I'm writing right now. The blade of this mandolin dulls too quickly and cannot be sharpened. I've used it maybe less than 10 times just as a vegetable cutter. A dull blade is very dangerous because when you run a vegetable you also cut it slowly, it will stick to the blade without cutting it and if you run too fast you will end up quickly and you can get yourself slicing hurt your…
