Berkey Sport Filtered Bottle Portable Review

I've had a Berkey Sports Bottle for a year. I bought it for a week long cruise. The best way to get good water without having to load crates of bottled water onto the ship. Now I just bought two more for my daughters. We are flying to the UK for two weeks. The best way to get water and don't worry about pollution.

I bought this as a trial run to see if I would invest in a larger countertop model. I live in a well water area and spend a lot of money to deliver 5 gallons of water. Well water is good for washing dishes and such, but it tastes terrible! And I didn't feel any difference through the Burke filter. Waste of money, significant waste of money having to buy those two useless bottles!

I bought this to do some filter experiments in my preschool class for our International Space Station Center. but if it really worked out, I'd love to have one for myself! I hate drinking tap water. Now, as for the filtering. the picture says it all. The science teacher washed the containers with the soil samples and I took her gross dirty water (obviously on the left). then I squeezed the bottle and look what happened! I thought it would be a bit cloudy. but now. it was crystal clear!

We bought two packs of these bottles and after cleaning them according to the manufacturer's instructions we filled them with water and when we squeezed this out it splashed out between the cap and the bottle. Upon further inspection, we found that the seams on this bottle were thin and had holes in them. We're very fond of our other Berkey products, but this bottle went through some sort of quality control. Thomas

I want to love this product because I love Berkey. Those are leaks. If there is water around the seal when closing, it will leak. Because you're sucking through the filter. It's harder to suck the water out, but at least you can squeeze it out to help. The only drawback is the very small water bottle. I drink a lot of water and the filter takes up quite a bit of space in the bottle. I keep filling it up. The taste is amazing! I bought it for a trip to the desert where the water is horribly…

This is a great portable water filtration system. Uses the same filtering as the larger Berkey filters, just with a smaller capacity.
