Bernat Softee Baby Yarn Patterns Review

After trying this pattern book I must say that i am in LOVE with the selection of designs for babies. It offers a great balance between classical and modern designs, and works up beautifully with Bernat yarn. However, the only downside is that some patterns may require intermediate to advanced knitting/crochet skills.Nevertheless, highly recommend it!

As someone who enjoys Arts and Crafts, i was excited to try out these yarn patterns. As a result of my tests I determined that they were not worth the cost .While there were some lovely designs, they were difficult to follow and not very beginner-friendly. On top of that, I found the quality of the yarn to be lacking. It did not hold up well and began to fray after only a few uses. Unfortunately, I would not recommend these patterns to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use yarn..

I needed a thin yarn and bought this yarn to knit a blanket. 3 gauge softee baby yarn was difficult to work with and kept breaking. When I got the right stitch count, it was about an inch larger with the F crochet hook compared to the 4 gauge Soft Secret yarn. The yarn wasn't soft either, rather coarse, like the Red Heart yarn. I will not buy again.
