As soon as I took them out of the box I knew they would be back. The shoes were so small I thought they sent me a size 8 and not the 12 (42) I ordered (I wear a size 11 but the reviews said to order one size up). But no: 42 was emblazoned on both the insole and the box. Thinking I might be crazy I tried to put it on but to no avail. so small Not "little-short-but-maybe-if-i-wear-thin-socks" small. Love it! I'm wearing it right now. I work in the grocery delivery business and need something that looks professional but is comfortable for long hours. I recommend going up a size so you can wiggle your toes. The elastic on this product may make the fit too tight if you have toe nerve issues. Order if in doubt. I wear between 8 and 8.5 in Nike and Ryka sneakers so I thought I could order 39M (the size chart says 39M for size 8 and 40M for size 9-9.5 so I have 39M chosen). I bought a pair of these shoes in late March/early April 2017. 8.5 in athletic shoes. I have a moderately high arch and a narrow foot, especially the heel. Based on other reviews I expected these shoes to go WIDE and they are! But with this style, you can tighten the elastic drawstring to make it snug.
