. because they were claimed to be heavier/more durable than the others.

I bought these because they were said to be heavier and stronger than others. not my experience. it's pretty easy to flip. Colors r large.wide. but I have to secure both sides. You must take a harder step. to make pets feel safe. my 18 lb terrier/dascuand mix is gorgeous. but I'm trying to teach him how to use them

Pug Freedom!: Cat Doors, Fences & Steps

Now my pug is middle aged and I have a very high bed that he could never jump on and he started hesitating when he jumped off. I thought it would be great for him and I wasn't wrong. It took him a while to get used to it and a few treats to get him climbing the first few times. I think he's too big for the stairs and their softness frightened him, but now he's enjoying his newfound freedom and coming and going as he pleases. It takes up little space, but it's worth it.

Suitable for me and my pup

Advantages: - You can open the top step for easy storage or change the height as needed. - Easy to clean - Goes great with most decor styles - Easy to move, not too heavy Cons: - If you have a hardwood floor you can put something on the floor to hold it in place as some dogs (like mine) quickly run up the stairs, causing the stairs to move and slide. I simply used my coffee table leg to sit comfortably next to the base and wedged a ladder between it and the sofa to prevent shifting.

Works well and looks beautiful

This is a great ladder for a light animal and the decor is nice. I bought this for my three legged cat to keep from clinging to my couch and trying to step on it. The first few times we had to lure her up the stairs with treats or catnip, but once she got used to walking up the stairs she loved them and preferred lying on the top step to lying on the sofa. The foam they are made of seems to be quite strong, so I think it will hold up indefinitely for lighter animals, but I don't know how it…
