This is my favorite of the many expansions I've bought here at Revain. The outlets are far apart so I can use them all for many different chargers around my house. The color is also beautiful and harmonises with my living room. It has a hanging hole which makes it even better. The only thing I wish is that it could be bought with a straight connector instead of the L shape it is. This makes it easier to place behind furniture, but makes it more difficult to share an outlet with another device.

The AV device seems to have a lot of connectors. I had 3 power strips plugged in to power everything. That single socket now does everything and I can flip the switch and everything goes offline. There is no constant energy draw that runs 24/7. I learned last year how much energy some items use. I had an old 60 inch Sony TV and Dish Network receiver that I got rid of. I bought this product because it had USB ports to charge my devices. But none of the USB ports work. Tried several different cables and several different devices on all ports but none of them worked. I like the socket configuration, but when the USB ports don't work, that doesn't help me. It's not worth the hassle or return shipping cost to send it back for a refund. This general purpose surge protector/extender works well in my DAW workspace. Much of the hardware I use for recording has power supplies that plug in, and most power supplies have fairly short cords. The dark gray block looks so nice that I can mount it directly on the table. I purchased this to mount to the underside of my sit/stand desk to have just one power cord from my computer, monitors, USB hubs and other AC powered peripherals.
