6ft in Electric

The 6ft opens fine for me and pulled out a lot of bait. It really pays for itself after about three uses; everything after that is gravy. dense lines.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not sure

It costs a little but it's worth it!

A GREAT cast net that opens great when cast correctly. Bought while on vacation (thanks Revane) at the lake and while fishing! We had another from Walmart that lasted for years and ended up rotting but this here one throws much better.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • A few small things

It broke on third use

We had a smaller network for many years. His broke the third time. He got stuck in oysters on stilts as he was swept up and torn by the current. Our other one is much stronger so we were surprised when this one broke.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality

Not happy with that.

These weights just aren't heavy enough to hold open when thrown. If I drop this one, it reverts to a very small diameter. My other chain (which of course I found in the garage after purchase) has lead weights and they are phenomenal. Skip this one, get the real one with lead weights. You will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I'll write later

It pays off.

The $50 you spend at the bait shop is the same $50 +/- you spend on this net. Go on YouTube, learn how to throw it, practice in the backyard, use it for surfing or from a boat. thanks me later Now you have live natural bait that preys on predatory fish. My only recommendation is to soak it in fabric softener overnight and rinse thoroughly. This helps eliminate kinks and increase productivity.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Weak

Easy to throw. Electronics

This is my first throwing net. I watched a few videos on YouTube and found a good casting opportunity. Worked well the first time I took it to the bay. Seems pretty tough. I practiced in the yard several times, throwing him in the water. It still looks like new, no tears anywhere. I recommend rinsing with fresh water after use in salt water, as in any other case. I think it's a good mesh that should last quite a long time with little maintenance.

Pros
  • Small parts box
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Easy to use and well made

Today was my first time using this cast net, in fact it was my first time touching a cast net so I hoped I could understand. After a few YouTube videos and practice swings I got the hang of it and I love it, it doesn't get too tangled and if it does it's very easy to undo. I have baited catfish with herring gizzards and I have caught huge shads the largest of which was 17 inches and the net held them with no problem. No problems with it yet and I hope to be able to use it soon.

Pros
  • 3/4 lb/ft
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

The best network I've ever had!

I have nothing but praise for this product. I mean it's really amazing. I have been casting herring nets and other bait to catch catfish since I was a child. I have had several different nets ranging in size from 3ft to 6ft. I recently got entangled at the bottom of a lake and destroyed my last net so I bought this to replace. 6 foot nets are the ideal size as they are still fairly easy to pancake and have a large area for catching game fish. This net is very soft and not stiff, which makes it…

Pros
  • Pro series quality
Cons
  • Very expensive
