Terrible product on furniture color

I have ordered this twice. The first can was good. Difficult to process without stripes despite the instructions on the can. Then came a second quart with a cracked cover and completely painted over. A new order has been shipped and something looks like sand in the paint. So unsuitable. The calling company left a message during business hours and no one called back. This is a very expensive paint that did not deliver as promised.

Don't waste time!

This is the worst 1 step color I have ever used. I made sure to clean each piece a few days in advance to ensure proper drying time. After 3-4 coats it still doesn't look good and has a lot of brush strokes. I tried using a 3/8" nub roller as directed and it left an even worse print. I ended up having to sand down what I had painted after 4 coats and I resorted to a primer. Then I waited 48 hours and tried again. The result is a very thick brush smeared with a horrible looking mess! After weeks

Not impressed: special paint

I want to paint my kitchen cabinets and thought it would work great. I decided to test it on the bureau to make sure it works well. I'm glad I did this because I wouldn't be happy with it on my closets. The finish sucked initially and it took three coats to get decent coverage. To be honest it was a medium dark wood and I painted it white. I can buy a primer/color with a better finish from the big department stores for less. The next problem is terrible brush/roller marks. I tried both the…

Great cabinet paint no problems

Wanted to paint an ugly orange bathroom cabinet. After some research, the thought of washing, sanding, priming, and painting in multiple coats just doesn't appeal to me. I don't have the time or patience to borrow a project, I have days off to start and finish it. Found outside of color, and although pricey, it seemed too good to be true, though. I bought it anyway - the reviews were pretty good and I felt like the color might help me with my limited time applying to projects. well i like it. I

Not worth the money - chips

I've painted a lot of furniture and woodwork and used a lot of different paint and primer combinations. I recently bought a liter of Reclaim Beyond in crisp white because I've had good results with Beyond Nantucket for a furniture makeover. Pros: Good consistency, applies well and covers better than color alone. A little can make a big difference. Cons: The wood I painted split within two months. I am experienced and know how to prepare for painting. It just doesn't have the longevity that one…

Permanent Paint - Furniture Paint

We wanted to paint our 50 year old painted cabinets but I was concerned about the chipping, cracking and adhesion issues I was seeing on the painted cabinets. We cleaned the cabinets with a basic green paint, let it dry and started painting. Color of unusual consistency, similar to custard. It took two coats and sometimes three, but it turned out beautifully. The color is very even and allows the texture of the wood to show through. After a few years we haven't had any chipping or adhesion…

NOT worth your money!

Not worth the money at all. Our project was the perfect candidate for this color. Followed all instructions from prep (cleaning) to application ("mash” instead of normal strokes, roller pile size, etc.) – DID NOT WORK. Our cabinets were medium brown wood (not very dark) and needed FOUR COATS in some places and 3 in others. It was already ridiculously peeling - worse than regular paint! It took forever to apply, and because I had to use so many coats (and yes, I waited the recommended amount of…

5 stars for color, 1 star for packaging

I love how this color is growing and my only regret is not buying a gallon. I ordered one from Home Depot because I'm concerned there might be storage or shipping issues with Revain. I got a bad liter of a different color (light grey). This quart was poorly packaged and almost broken while the other quart I received from HD was packaged much more carefully. I originally ordered a gallon of bright white from Revain to keep using but it was returned on delivery because it was opened in transit. I
