About what you'd expect for sixty bucks

Just Another Piece of Scrap Pressed MDF product that was spat out of a mold and powder coated black paint on an assembly line, a slave paid a dollar and an hour in communist China. The manufacturing cost of this product was perhaps . 5 dollars. These are quality college dorm items. as something to throw away when you graduate and leave campus. It's really hard to find a quality speaker stand set at an affordable price here at Revain. Unfortunately I'll keep them to myself, but I'll look forโ€ฆ

You get what you paid for

The quality of these speaker stands leaves a lot to be desired. I've read comments from other reviewers that these stands are very wobbly when speakers are mounted on them and I totally agree, especially if you're using them for large speakers. Also, the top base is so damn small it looks like it was meant for nano speakers or something! That's ridiculous! On the other hand, they are light and cheap. I think if nobody bothers the speakers in the racks, nothing will happen to your speakersโ€ฆ

Racks fully met my needs!

These speaker stands are perfect. My first selection criterion was the height - I needed them to raise my bookshelf speakers to a good listening height and they were perfect, to within an inch. I also paid attention to appearance. They're clean and simple. Assembly was easy. I've read instructions and comments online about bolts not being tightened with a power tool. I didn't need wax or silicone spray on the screws. Just gently screw them in with a Phillips screwdriver. The only thing I notice

  • Brilliantly made

Good inexpensive speaker stands

These stands are made of chipboard so take slow assembly and use hand tools. Cordless screwdrivers can split wood. However, assembly was quick and easy, even with a standard screwdriver. Got both in 20 minutes. Mounted on top of this are my Pioneer sp-bs22a bookshelf speakers, each weighing about 9 pounds. I have them on carpet without the included spikes. These spikes were too long for my carpet and just didn't look right. The best thing about these stands is the cable management. My speakersโ€ฆ

They were easy to assemble but no power tools were required.

I also bought a 24" kit for my front speakers and these are for the smaller rear speakers of my 5.1 home theater. They were easy to assemble but don't use power tools. It's best to use a hand screwdriver so you have a better handle on the torque you're applying to the screws. I still cracked a bit but probably overtightened. My Dayton B652 surround speakers, which are smaller, are over 12 inches tall and weigh less than 6 pounds. everyone. I used Blu-Tack glue to attach the speakers to the topโ€ฆ

Decent stands for the price

It's hard to find a stand that does 'everything' right. I don't like adjustable metal stands. And no glass coasters. i like wood They are "made of wood" and serve as a good stand for your speaker. Others have raised concerns about the size of their speakers. My monitors are 11 x 7 x 8 inches and weigh 14 pounds. My speakers fit this stand perfectly. Some have mentioned using Blu Tak to connect their speakers. I didn't trust this as I have 4 bully dogs hitting everything around me lol. I usedโ€ฆ

Do not go yet! Read this first.

The stands themselves are just right for removing bookshelf speakers and lowering them to ear level. Nothing is bigger than bookshelf speakers, however, as the base of the speaker isn't much larger than the palm of an adult's hand. Now to the important things. These coasters are made entirely of MDF, making them fragile when it comes to screws and fasteners. I had an issue with my order and it didn't arrive properly and while waiting for a reorder I visited a local high end audio storeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Too long to wait

I highly recommend these stands for 31" Sanus BF31-B1 speakers. They arrived in great condition, look great and look sturdy when assembled correctly. The assembly was easy as I first read the instructions then followed them, they very clearly warn the customer not to use power tools to assemble the stands, however the MDF material seems strong enough for its purpose just considering that you working with MDF and not solid oak. Read the instructions and take your time to get it right. I did itโ€ฆ
