Review on πŸ”Š 31-inch Black Speaker Stands (Set of 2) for Bookshelf Speakers up to 20 lbs - SANUS BF31-B1 by Brooke Gill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good inexpensive speaker stands

These stands are made of chipboard so take slow assembly and use hand tools. Cordless screwdrivers can split wood. However, assembly was quick and easy, even with a standard screwdriver. Got both in 20 minutes. Mounted on top of this are my Pioneer sp-bs22a bookshelf speakers, each weighing about 9 pounds. I have them on carpet without the included spikes. These spikes were too long for my carpet and just didn't look right. The best thing about these stands is the cable management. My speakers have an ATMOS speaker built in, so there are two speaker cables with banana plugs attached to each speaker. The back of the speaker stands has a flexible plastic cover. Remove the cover, slide the speaker wire in and out of the hole at the bottom of the floor stand, and then replace the plastic cover. A simple and painless attempt to push a speaker cable through a narrow tube. The small 5" shelf on top bothered me as it's not big enough, but the speaker sits securely on the included little rubber feet. However, I will be using industrial grade velcro to stabilize it. or small children facing it might be knocked out by these heavy speakers. It was good value for money!

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • A nuisance
