Great product!: Window fan

The unit works great in my daughter's bedroom window. Not too big and bulky. Draws in cool air at night. She likes to keep her room cool at night and this fan got the job done with very little noise. The thermostat is a great feature so you don't have to adjust the speed in the middle of the night. The 3 speeds work as follows: middle knife = low, 2 outer knives = medium, all 3 knives = high.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Style 90

Good product! good for window fan

Whilst I have read other bad reviews I have to say I give this one a 5 star rating. I've had the fan for 2 days and it works absolutely amazing, it's quiet and blows like a **ton* of air like my air conditioner was in a window. Yes, you'll have to go through the settings to turn it off, but unless you're lazy this shouldn't be a problem. I wish this unit had a remote control but it doesn't but there has to be a day when it was the best $40 I've ever spent!

Seriously, don't waste your money.

1. Bought just over a month ago. We used it for the second time last night and when we stretched our arms to fit in the window the cheap plastic burst! The low/medium/high function is a joke. Low spins one fan blade, while medium spins two and high spins all three. The only setting that makes sense is high because the first two settings blow air back into the non-rotating blades. That's a terrible design. Why not use a rheostat in the design to control the speed of all 3 fan blades like any…

Inaccurate/incomplete description of the device's capabilities.

This fan is not reversible in the sense that you can pull air out of the room. It's not designed for that. It is reversible in the sense that there are control switches inside and outside the device. Yes, someone outside can change your settings or even turn off the power. He approaches the window in only one direction (blowing into the room). The description is not very good because of these problems. Having said that, this is a good fan if you want outside air to enter the room. Room. I live…

False advertising for local fans

So I got that today. I was thinking of three fans that can each be controlled independently. For example, there are two inlet air and one inlet hot air. Looked really cool when I unboxed it, but when I plugged it in, GARBAGE! This fan is very weak. It doesn't cool anything and you have to sit very close to feel anything. My $10 Walmart floor fan blows more air than this thing. This is a huge waste of money. Nothing digital in the control panel and why do they even have the word LED in the…

Okay, not as good as I was hoping.

This is a large size, I live in a basement apartment and the windows in my living room are wide but only open 8 or 10 inches. It fits perfectly and it's reversible which I prefer. The digital controls are on either side, which is nice. It's also the quietest fan I've ever had. You hardly notice. The way it works is a little disappointing. I'm sure if it was facing inwards I could make more of it because then I would at least feel some air movement. But I bought this to expel warm air, which is…

Very happy!: Heating, cooling and air quality

I've moved from a big house to a three bedroom apartment and a toy kitchen (no one cooks anymore?). In any case, the oven fan z. it's almost impossible. I needed, as someone else mentioned, a window fan to blow out the cooking by-products! That works great! In warm weather I turn it on early in the morning to cool the apartment. We also have a second one for the bedroom where the air is incredibly still. They have to be rotated manually to air in or out. I don't understand why people are…

Great feeling, great versatility. The three-engine design is fantastic.

Great fan, perfect for my needs. I love how quiet it is and that the stream has three tiers. The three stages are controlled by a mechanical switch and basically switch 1, 2 or 3 fan blades working at the same time. 1=Central Motor, 2=Two Outboard Motors, 3=All Motors This distributes the airflow and in my opinion three small fans makes less noise than two large fans in other products I have used.* Runs silently at all speeds* Designed to to be used horizontally or vertically (sliding out…
