Reliable. Competitive price

I have never used such a reliable magnet. Works perfectly. As I use it. Approach the water box and hold the button. Pump up breaks. Do a burn and release the button.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some small things

The seal inside swelled before I could even use it.

The gasket inside buckled before I could use it for its intended purpose to lock up the front brakes. I had to pry the air vent on the caliper to release the pressure to get the car home.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

No leakage for transmission

Recently installed and jack tested, front brakes hold up well. I need to see how it performs in a burn in box but for now I'm happy with this product. No leaks, unlike the Hurst solenoid which costs twice as much and leaks right out of the box from the bottom connector.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Protection

Used as a parking brake for agricultural machinery. Not for long-term parking, since the battery will run out, but for holding on to the mountain when loading a truck. It was a cheap solution rather than looking for a driveshaft brake which was too expensive to replace.

Pros
  • If satisfied

It's also nice that you can turn it on before you stop

I fitted it to the first generation 4runner as a parking brake when using a winch. Thus, when the engine is running, all four wheels are blocked so that the batteries remain charged. Switch on my lockers and it's a 3500 pound anchor that doesn't turn anything. It's also good that I can turn it on before stopping and as soon as I step on the brake to stop I'm parked, the pressure goes away and stops. I installed with Swagelock fittings, just cut off the brake line and installed the Swagelocks…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

Price Change - Performance Parts & Accessories

I bought a couple of these from Revain and just wanted to buy another one and while I had it in my cart the price went up. Not cool. This is no longer a better price than Summit Racing for the same unit. I feel I need to reconsider all of my Revain purchase decisions. While most brake locks are used in racing, I consider them a must for off-road use, especially when using a winch. I can lock the brakes and the truck won't even try to move until I'm done winching. I run separate circuits for the
