    Powerful and Quiet Stepper Motor

After trying this motor, I am impressed by its power and quiet operation. The torque is strong enough for industrial and scientific applications, yet it runs smoothly without any loud noises. The compact size makes it easy to integrate into 3D printer systems. However, the price is relatively high compared to some other options on the market.

    Pros
    • Powerful, Quiet, Compact
    Cons
    • Relatively expensive

Small but non-standard NEMA 8 sizes

This is a really small stepper motor, but as far as I understand it it *not* the normal dimensions for a NEMA 8 Engine. Most of the specs I've seen say that a NEMA 8 motor should have a 16mm bolt spacing and a 15mm guide ring. This has a hole spacing of 15.4 mm and a guide circle of 16 mm. Just check if it's right for your application.

    Pros
    • Current rating 0.2A and resistance 24 ohms
    Cons
    • Piggy bank price

I bought it directly from Stepper Online. So will it be .

I bought it directly from Stepper Online. It will not fit the NEMA 8 motor mount sold by Servo City (aka Actobotics and Robotzone). As another customer pointed out, the motor has a circumference of 16.0mm and a bolt hole spacing of 15.4mm, which I measured with a caliper. In contrast, the motor mount has a diameter of just 15.75mm for the guide circle and a hole spacing of 16.0mm.

    Pros
    • The smallest stepper motor
    Cons
    • Don't know
