my male bird died and the female was so sad. She was happy when I put this mirror in front of her cage. She talks to him all the time.

This is not a typical small mirror and as such I feel it gives my birds more opportunities to interact with it visually than they could with a much smaller mirror.

My cockatiel lost his longtime companion and mourned LOUDLY for several months. I put this mirror in her cage and she immediately fell silent. Keep the mirror clean so the bird can see its reflection.

later It's not 5 inches for one, it's 4 inches, the size of a cup holder. The worst part is the hook on the back. Won't stay flush with cage wall, back of one is cracked too. Essentially, this is an expensive compact mirror for your bird. I would look elsewhere.

My 2 English budgies have been sticking to this mirror since I installed it. I'm thinking about taking it out because they like it too much ha. They literally don't even eat. The hooks are on the back or strong and I don't like that they come loose like other mirrors like this one I've tried.
