I like the fan, but there is a bright red light that you can't turn off. As it is used in our bedroom while we sleep it is very annoying. I tried putting tape on it and the light still shines brightly through the tape. If there was no light the fan would be great.

It's quiet, has a great remote control and a wind option which I love but don't remember seeing in the product details. My old fan was white and lasted about 5 years. I bought this fan on July 14th and it stopped working on September 10th, less than two months. Black and Decker, your product quality has gone sour that you are no longer a major household brand.
