Light turns on and off randomly. I'll be in another room and the light will turn on or off. There is no switch to bypass sensors. I tried contacting Black and Decker to resolve my issue. The answer I got was that it's not really their product and Spectrum Home Appliances was recommended to me. Attempts to contact this company have been unsuccessful. I just want my headlights to work like they should or be able to turn them on and off with a switch.

This kit includes three light bars (best value for money), lots of guides and connecting cables. Everything is of good quality, the cables are easy to lay and connect. The light is a good temperature (K) and bright enough to illuminate my sink and countertop. I haven't figured out how to use motion detection and was wondering if it's even there. Since these are LEDs I usually leave them on all the time or use the easy to use square on/off switch.

I thought the motion sensor would turn on the light when you enter a dark room (like most motion sensors) but the sensor only detects movement from about 2 centimeters in front of it. It's even mentioned in the instructions. I have no idea how good it must be to be so close to the light, I could just use the on/off button. While the lights themselves work well and are easy to install, the lack of a useful motion sensor left me with no reason to even pick them up. Not happy at all.

Great lights here. Very easy installation using a drill and a 1/2" bit. I wanted to make an extension to the other side of the counter and to do this I had to drill a few holes. Made the installation very clean and you don't see any wires. I have an extra one Bought light to add a 4th light which I felt was a bit pricey for a single light. I also had to buy a 108" extension. I received the product today and it took about ten minutes from unboxing to full installation. The lamps are under the cabinets in the section where for some reason the builder didn't install recessed lights like under the other cabinets. I used all three strips for the 36" range, which I only mention because the instructions only recommend using one strip for the 36" range. I wanted more light and *thought* I could darken them too. The before and after photos pretty much speak for themselves (depending on the order Revain posts them in for you) for my business. This is a game changer. What I really wanted was something that would turn the light on when the pantry door opens and turn off when it closes. The motion sensor is more like a photocell than a motion sensor. When something is within 2 inches of the sensor, the light will toggle (off->on or on->off). When something goes, the light doesn't change. I've tested and tried several other under cabinet lighting options and this option is fantastic: the color and dimming features are great, it deserves a 5 star rating. Black and Decker advertises this product as "easy installation without tools," which is absolutely true. The downside to this is that there are bulky and highly visible components.
