This bag is big, heavy and badly designed. If the top lid is open and you then want to open the main compartment, throw everything in the lid on the floor. Poor organization and very clumsy. I also don't like the design of the laptop compartment. Poorly integrated in my opinion. I'm just not a fan of this backpack. Returned.

Only used a few weeks but looks very solid. Fits perfectly with all my climbing gear as well as my daughter's gear. A small drawback, if you put almost any number of things in the top compartment, the lid tilts when opening the main compartment. I'm picky about the quality of zippers and I really like the zippers on this bag. Bought to take my climbing gear to Red Rocks, Nevada when we fly to Las Vegas in September. It is designed like a large tote bag with durable materials and straps. ; it pretty much stands alone for a top load.
