I ordered these for my nieces (ages 10, 9 and 6) as a Christmas present. Comes in rigid shrink wrap and has a slight "manufacturing odor". I'm considering washing it before packing. I ordered mint green, love the color and the pattern! In general I am very satisfied!

Bought C-Purple for my 9 year old daughter. The color is saturated, there are other colors interspersed in the yarn, which is fun. It's long enough to cover her arms and under her neck. It feels heavy and is well made for the price.

My girlfriend loves this mermaid tail so much it is now at the back of her closet, which is the second week since I bought it for her. As for the product itself, it's actually pretty well made, nice and warm and does what it's supposed to do, making you look like a half mutant human, half mutant fish. So if you and your loved ones want to look terribly genetically defective, I highly recommend this. If you just want to keep warm and look like a mermaid, I think you'll love that too.

Our daughter loves this blanket! As a teenager, she loves blankets and hides in them. She's 5ft 6in tall so she's a bit small to cover her up to the neck. Also, there is a small hole at the bottom of the fin that we don't understand. Only one leg would fit, but why? I wish the opening was two feet larger or there was no opening at all to reduce the draft of this blanket. A little more length at the top would have given this duvet 5 stars. Surprisingly good quality! The colors and design matched the photo and description which was great considering the affordable price compared to similar items I also reviewed. Very beautiful! I ended up buying one for myself and one as a birthday present for a friend who loves mermaids, works for both kids and adults. The only thing I should mention is that the tail is NOT closed at the bottom. So if you're hoping to keep your toes warm, consider wrapping the "fin" at the bottom around your toes

This is a good blanket BUT it does NOT look like the picture. In the picture it looks like it could be given to an adult, but in real life it looks like a child would use it. If you are intending to get this for someone under 14 I would give it 4 stars but I ended up returning it due to too much rainbow yarn being woven into the light blue. The main issue is how small the tail is - not at all like the picture. I could live with that as I've seen it in other reviews but it annoys me how tiny the opening is for your feet. It is non-elastic and non-elastic for some reason I don't understand. I'm about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weigh 105 pounds; On a good day, the only thing on my body that has volume is my hair.
