Good if you don't want much

I can't use my phone at work but wanted to know if my kids text me. It's perfect for that. However, if you want more from him, you will be disappointed. The heart rate monitor is not working, the pedometer is far away, the camera is not working. Also replying to messages is a pain. Remember when SMS first came out and you had to press 7 for S (or whatever) four times, do that on the watch. And the clock is gigantic, but the screen feels tiny when you try to touch the numbers.

  • Great job

What can you say about a budget smartwatch - you get what you pay for

What can you say about a budget smartwatch - you get what you pay for? like a white strap. However, it is easy to replace. I want the analog clock to show the date and only digital. The watch works quite well and the battery lasts about a day. The battery charges quickly. I couldn't get the prepaid SIM to work in the watch, but I didn't care because I mainly use the watch as a fitness tracker. The problem lies with the Blu Fitness app, which needs to be downloaded to your phone. The app seems…

The leather strap is a bit like thick foam

Very bad rating, I walked less than a day. For sizing reference, this is one US cent. Good on the wrist not too big. The leather strap looks like thick foam. 4 dialing options. Just connects to their app which you need to download, it runs in the background. The monitor works fast. You only get 4/5 options for calls and notifications, no additional settings. The music option acts as a remote control to start music on your phone without playing music through the watch. Ringtone volume does not…

Not ready for prime time

. I wanted to love this watch but after two days of heavy use I can see it's not even worth the $50 I paid for them. I don't mind the build style of the watch although the strap looks very cheap although it's comfortable enough - just looks crappy. The actual UI of the watch isn't nearly as user-friendly as the marketing photos might suggest. Very archaic icons, bad touch work. Watch faces are limited to four, all very basic. The pedometer is so inaccurate that it cannot be used - it typically…

Well worth the price

If this is your first smartwatch, then this is a good introduction to this type of accessory. It only offers a few time displays to choose from, raising the desire for more choices. It's easy to use but needs to be paired with the BLU fitness app for full functionality in terms of supporting SMS and calls via BlueTooth. I still can't sync my contacts from my phone to my watch, but it is possible to manually add contacts to the phone itself. This information was not given in the user manual. The

I don't see a market for this watch at all

I review about a dozen smartwatches a year and they vary greatly in price. When it comes to wearables in 2018, I unexpectedly revert to a simplistic approach. Watches like the Pebble 2 really gave users exactly what a wearable should have: push notifications, time of course, and some health-tracking apps. Where does X Link appear? This was released before BLU publicly acknowledged and announced the need for changes, particularly in their quality control. Rather than churn out "new" all-in-ones…

Totally boring for a wearable

Boring to say the least. The watch does not look at all like the photos posted here. When I saw only 3 mid-range launch reviews on Revain.com, I thought people were probably expecting too much from a budget smartwatch. But I was wrong. The watch leaves a lot to be desired, even at $50. The dial is mostly plastic with a combination of probably cheap metal. But it feels very plastic. The band isn't bad, could be better, but really not that bad. The watch comes with a plastic film on the dial that
