I recently moved house and lost the spikes for my Ambience speakers so I had to buy these to replace. The finish/finish is good, the color goes well with the coasters and does the job perfectly. Since the floor in the room is hard (compared to the carpet before), I glued some sticky round felt from Home Depot to the floor. I am very happy with the setup!

I didn't want to put the studded speakers directly on my beautiful new wooden floor so I bought them. Each of them is packed in small bags so they don't get scratched easily and slip under the spikes. It's worth noting that there's a hole that goes right through the middle. So if your spikes are very thin/narrow they might go straight through, mine didn't do the job. The color is nice too, looks great.

Individually wrapped so they don't bump into each other in shipping. They look and work well, but you'll need a second person when putting them down. It's not easy with one person and a sand-filled speaker stand weighing over 50 pounds to get them to line up with your spikes so the spikes don't dig into your ground. I wish they had a felt bottom or something, but I guess I could do that myself.

The speakers are equipped with spikes for traction. That's good (usually). Unfortunately, the spikes are designed for carpets and can ruin hardwood or plastic floors. The thing is, you really need a good way to bond your speakers to a hard floor to dissipate power from your speakers (especially those with a floating floor), and spikes are a good one (though not the only one) opportunity to achieve this. You can spend a ridiculous sum on insulating pads. I don't know why people do that. I just bought some Dynaudio Stand 20 speakers and wanted to put something under the spikes that wouldn't damage the wooden floors. The only thing that bothered me was the size of the hole. But they're not really useful because you can't move the speakers. You have to decide where you want to place the speakers and then lift them up to place the speaker tips on those discs. I needed to be able to move the speakers, so I bought some blocks of wood from Home Depot, put some felt pads on them, and placed the speakers so the spikes were resting on the wood. I have never used the spikes that came with my B&W 704 speakers but I saw these pads and decided, these spikes and these Try pads. Once the pads arrived, I simply screwed the spikes into the four corner tapped holes on the bottom of the speakers and inserted the spike tips into the recesses on those pads.
