I installed it on my hang glider but after a few months it died. Now I only have backlight. Wasn't worth the time and money. Even when he was working, it would take him several minutes to register movement. My Garmin is faster and more reliable.

To be honest with this caliber I was attracted by the price. After installing it on the boat and using it for a whole season I have to say that I was very happy with this speedometer. It actually goes beautifully with the Livorsi set and works great.

Installation is very easy. All you need is a 12V source, easily found on any vehicle with any type of lighting. I connected the taillight and power button rather than my switch because I needed an indication that my electric bike was on when the lights were off. The GPS sensor is very long and I wish there were options for shorter ones, but I think the length would be great for other types of vehicles.

In the beginning it was the perfect solution. like others i only get an error code after about 6 months of use. I've tried resetting it (by turning it off and letting the charge drain) to no avail. I can't find any help online for this and indeed the return/exchange period has expired. Now it's an expensive paperweight. There really isn't anything I don't like about this speedometer and odometer. I've found that plugging into the ignition causes the odometer and odometer to start at the beginning of the number they broke. For example, if your odometer reads 100 and your trip reads 1.9, and you turn it off when you restart it, your trip will read 2 after a tenth of a mile, but your odometer will not read 101 until the trip has completed 2.9.
