The matte cardboard sleeve works great for my mini notebooks: easy to cut and perforate, yet lightweight. The black color means they don't need to be painted and can be used with all the materials I use. I also occasionally use them to support my work, so they are very versatile.

They were in perfect condition and arrived in a well protected box to avoid damage. However, mine was still damaged in the corner, probably because the courier accidentally dropped it. It wasn't serious enough that I felt like I needed to get her back and was trying to find ways to iron it out. Otherwise it is a very good material, perfectly cut on the edges and of a very high quality. I use them for my graphic design portfolio. They are black on both sides

This product may be suitable for cutting mats for framing, but do not purchase if you intend to laser engrave something on them. It sucks. I've tried several settings on my laser and nothing seems to work. The black finish material is disgusting. I can't find a way to remove it from the finished piece, it sticks like a gooey, oily mess.
