🐶 BOCHAO Dog Car Seat: Safe & Comfortable Pet Booster Seat for Travel, Easy to Clean Review

I ordered this car seat for my pom. I should have known something was wrong with it when it was packaged in a ziplock vacuum bag. It was beautiful when I took it out of the box. As soon as I installed it in the car, the stitching separated with the strap that attaches to the headrest. The zippers on the side that fasten the bottom are of poor quality, they even open with clips. The seat is not strong. I wish I could return it.

So far this has been perfect for my dog. He jumped right in and was very comfortable and as secure as can be with seat belts and pads. My only complaint is the shipping - although it arrived on time, it was packaged in a used vacuum bag and then sealed in plastic like a cocaine brick. Very strange and it caused serious wrinkles, not sure if they will all come out. It's very good quality and fits my car well so I'm just ignoring the weirdness of the packaging.

It was great until it was gone. I actually ordered a second one from us for another car until the next one happened and I canceled that order and returned the original. Our dog was buckled up and we went to the dog park. I opened the car door and my 20kg puppy jumped with excitement, ripping the buckle completely off the seat and my boy jumped out of the car and ran to the other dogs he saw. Luckily we got it back, but a 20lb dog shouldn't be able to fully break the buckle designed to keep dogs

The Akita in the main photo is misleading when comparing sizes. My dog is 1/3 the size of an adult Akita and will not fit in a booster. UPDATE: 06/02/21 I ordered a second seat for my second Boston puppy and the company has changed the style of the straps that attach around the seat. , opt for the headrest and clips for your dog and I am completely satisfied with the new quality. They are much stronger and more durable than the first seat I bought. Over time I will replace when the old one is needed. But now we keep using it. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars now!
