I'm getting older and have arthritis and windshield cleaning requires a twist to make sure I'm thorough and stain-free. I smear Bon Ami (on a damp cloth), let it dry and then wipe it off with a dry cloth or piece of paper. It dries to a white film so it's easy to see if I haven't completely removed it and Bon Ami doesn't leave streaks. I can take my time and don't have to keep twisting and turning to pass the same area multiple times. I have tried different sprays and this is the best.

The sprinkler occasionally sprays on the window and we have well water so there are hundreds of little white spots on the window. This is a really good sink and bathtub cleaner. Dampen the area to be cleaned, powder Bon Ami, shake around with a brush. Leave for 15-30 minutes. Then rub again and you won't believe the difference. If you leave it for a long period of time - around 20-30 minutes - consider spraying it with water a few times during the standby cycle to keep it moist and active.
