it still looks very bad. Hopefully I can fix this with other products.

My wood floors look milky or cloudy after using Bona. After speaking to the Bona rep and doing everything she suggested, it still looks very bad. I hope I can fix this with other products and don't have to sand down the floors. DO NOT BUY!

Not recommended for home cleaning

This product followed the directions on the bottle and left a film on my hardwood floors. I tried cleaning the floor with Bona Hardwood Cleaner and when that didn't work I used water with some white vinegar. Part of the film came off, but not 100%. I would not recommend this product. It didn't match the Bona name on my floors.

White powdery finish, don't use

Low gloss polishing is terrible when high gloss was previously used and it was usable and worked well. Dimly glossy ones look good as long as you don't use them. No matter what I do, wherever something makes contact with the ground, it leaves white powdery trails or marks. This has never happened with a glossy finish and I followed the directions for the time to go on it.

Misty, milky finish!

My husband and I would spend all day cleaning and polishing hardwood floors with this product. There was a misty milky finish. Every footprint, paw prints, etc. are clearly visible. We followed the instructions exactly and used the special Bona mop. Anyone have any tips on how to remove this cover? We have about 1,000 square feet of hardwood downstairs and it's looking terrible right now! Help!

  • Great design

DO NOT use for household cleaning

After doing all the grueling preparation with other Bono products as directed, I applied and allowed to dry as needed. It had a milky haze and upon closer inspection was a white residue that looked more like plastic than anything. That was totally unacceptable. If I did something wrong, the instructions weren't very clear. It took me 2 days to wash my hands and knees to get rid of it. An absolutely terrible product.

Works Very Well-Simple

About 10 months ago I sanded natural uncoated oak floors (I asked the floor installer what he was using at the time and he used Bona Mega water-based satin floors when he installed them repaired). They were in good condition but there were some small scratches when the light hit them and you looked at them from certain angles and they faded a bit even after cleaning, especially in high traffic areas in the kitchen. I really like a smooth surface and didn't want to 'buff' the floors to a high…

Incredibly bad product

I have used this product several times over the last 3 years with no problems - gives a bright low gloss. However, after drying, this bottle left a very white milky haze on the bottom. I called Bona and they helped me. Not our fault, it's DIY. No product replacement, just an offer to reapply it and see if it fixes itself, or buy nail polish remover and take it all off is some of the worst customer service terms. I think if flooring manufacturers tell you to use this product or void your…

Pros
  • Low gloss
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

I have used Bona flooring products for many years including this one. I used up the rest of the bottle I bought elsewhere and then started to finish the floor I bought from Revain. This bottle ruined my floors. A picture shows how I finished my floors with the old bottle on the left and the new bottle on the right. My kitchen floor, which I covered with an old bottle of Bona floor polish I bought elsewhere, shines. This material has damaged my floors and I need to take them to a professional…
