Leaves a white chalky film on the floor

After using Bona High Gloss for years, I tried a low gloss product. It was a big mistake. Due to the low gloss, my parquet floors had a white chalk film after a very light application. Now I have to find a way to remove this rubbish and clean the floors. What a big waste of time and money. No more Bona products for me.

Incorrect labeling - Incorrectly labeled article - Attention!

Bought 2 twin packs of Bona Low Gloss Floor Polish (equivalent to 4 x 32 oz bottles). I probably should have mixed all of the product before using but you would think each bottle was the same. All 4 bottles were labeled "Low Gloss/Gloss". However, I did most of our living/dining room and hallway first and the finishes were fine. I finished our kitchen with the last bottle but it's different. This is a glossy finish which I did NOT want. That's a pretty big area to do and now I have to do it…

Gives old wooden floors an even shine

I love this product on my old wooden kitchen floor (renovated 20+ years). Non-slip product. This gives "gloss", aka "satin", not "glossy". Here's my story: I spent most of the past week spotting the scuff marks on my floor, sanding, spot painting to match the golden yellow of my existing oil-based urethane, and then spraying over the renovated surface. Stains with an oil based urethane spray. But nothing I could try many, many, many times would get me to the point where the new areas matched…

Adds an even shine to old wooden floors

I love this product on my old (20+ year old) wooden kitchen floor. Non-slip product. This gives "gloss", aka "satin", not "glossy". Here's my story: I spent most of the last week spotting the scuff marks on my floor, sanding and spot painting to match the golden yellow of my existing oil-based urethane, and then spraying over the refinished surface. Stains with an oil based urethane spray. But nothing I could try many, many, many times would get me to the point where the new areas matched the…

Good product. Follow the directions and be patient

I had a lot of experience with this when I was finishing my raw hardwood floors to replace the old worn out polythene. Disassembled to tree, sealed and then used this polish. I did a shift. Firstly, you need to be patient, not skimp and not cut corners. You need to swing the bottle slowly and you need to do this for at least 30 seconds (you need to shake to the rhythm of 2 beats per movement of a slowly ticking clock - think of the crocodile from the cartoon Peter Pan). The point is to mix it…
