Excellent leather thread! Runs smoothly through machine threading, won't tangle on the needle and is deceptively strong. Ideal for decorative seams as well as permanent seams. I've joined two pieces of vegetable tanned leather weighing 8-10 ounces with no problem.

I needed this to sew my driver's seat out of torn leather. Significantly cheaper than going to a leather workshop and buying a seat there. The thread is very, very strong and you will need scissors to cut it as you cannot break it with brute force.

I used this to sew pants out of the most impossible fabric to make pants (faux snakeskin vinyl which actually looks more like handbag fabric) and this thread didn't even sweat ! Even after 3-4 layers of vinyl it held tight and didn't move. And believe me, if he can handle this 'stuff', he can handle anything. Drag the truck behind you. I bet it won't crack 😂

I mainly use nylon thread 69 for most of my leather items. I usually buy from Thread Exchange but they are not this color. Looks just as good as the thread I get from them and about $4 cheaper for about the same amount. So it's good but didn't know it was made in China hence only 3 stars. Don't mind spending an extra $4 to keep money in the US. But almost impossible. A&E yarns are now also manufactured in China and Vietnam.
