The deck is quite thin and warps easily, so it doesn't slide smoothly on the rail. Terminals are complete junk. They didn't even hold my cordless Dewalt saw with enough pressure that they couldn't be let go. I made some belt clips that are easy and work great. I only use Bora clamps as stops. After my revision, the system works well for cutting sheet materials that will later be sawn on a table saw.

I bought this with an edge clip to cut the underside of the doors. None of my Milwaukee circular saws (2830-7¼", 2630-6½") can be lowered enough to cut 1½" no matter where I move the clamps that hold the base plate to this saw plate. On a 7¼" -Saw, the motor protrudes beyond the base plate and the saw plate is too thick to fully lower the saw blade onto it. Saw does not hold securely or accurately. Moved to use. Not for every saw, especially the Dewalt 7 1/4". Fragile construction. Rotation lock with lock nut doesn't work. Only turns. It ended up being a great tool, but. BUT! I had to clean up the edges and surfaces that fit together. This part slides in a metal guide. Both the "saw plate" and the metal rails had raw, rough edges and a sticky adhesive that kept them from slipping. It needed a bit of deburring to keep them from being sent back as "defective". I bought this to make clean and straight cuts on melamine shelves. The first cuts turned out great! Yesterday I cut open a stack of 6 shelves outside in the sun and found them crooked and crooked.
