Sensitive to moisture?

This material is really extremely transparent and is very easy to draw on with pencil and pen. But it started to warp when I took it out of the plastic wrapper, so I have to assume it's very sensitive to humidity fluctuations. I used part of a sheet as a protective barrier under my arm and it flexed incredibly and formed permanent waves over an inch tall, even though I wasn't sweating. I would be scared if this happened to a drawing I really spent time on. I'm staying with Dura-Lar.

Vellum Dork loves this stuff

Borden and Riley make the BEST PARCHMENT on the market. It accepts ink lines without running. Here's how to erase without ghosts (I'll give you a sideways glance here, Staedtler). I will never buy another brand again. I mean it too! Likewise? Amazing price. I want to hug her like a panda. Huge fluffy bear hug!
