Subpar and Ineffective Drill Bits

These industrial and scientific drill bits are a waste of money. They struggle to make it through even basic materials, leaving splintered and ineffective holes. These bits lack precision and the promised "extra length" is not enough to make up for their poor performance.

Pros
  • There are no pros to this product.
Cons
  • These drill bits are a frustrating waste of time and money.

The shank is round, not with advertising on 3 sides.

I bought this because of the 3 flat bits between the shank and the drill bit. This caused the bit to slip/rotate in the chuck. I was able to drill my three 6" wood holes after tightening the chuck several times.

Pros
  • Electric drill parts and accessories
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

Worth what I paid for it.

Excellent Drill. I use it to drill some 9" deep holes in two panels of a very hard sideboard to insert some brass rods. The bit didn't play and there were no breaks. The black oxide coating adheres very well (Bosch typical). The only Negative is the ribbing of the bit, for a deep bore they don't go far enough to remove the moldboard well, even if they back off they are still too shallow as they have to come out almost entirely of every hole you drill .

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Crumpled
