Disappointing Performance in Industrial Drill Bits

After I put it to the test with tough, heavy-duty materials, this drill bit failed to live up to its advertised strength and durability. Though it appeared to have A promising design and construction, it quickly wore down and required constant replacements .The lone positive is that it is affordable but it`s not worth sacrificing quality for a low price. As a hesitant buyer, I cannot recommend this product for any sizable Industrial or Scientific work..

Won my High Steel Test

I tested various cobalt bits against hard steel on my drill press. My "hard steel" sample is a used Woods mowing blade about 1/4 thick. Not only did this bit drill through the blade, it "won" my tests. Others, that cut through the blade were made by Irwin and Century. Two types of Milwaukee bits are non-drillable (still good for mild steel). I didn't test Dewalt because I can't buy 15/64 bits".
