The right tool for the job!

I've had to drill 1 1/2 inch diameter holes in cured facing brick and 70 year old concrete (knowledgeable concrete workers know what that means), but I didn't have a drill this size. It is in stock at the right price and works as it should. Thank you Reva!

Drill bit came off

I bought this product primarily to drill and remove blue stones/boulders from my property. I used Dexpan, a non-explosive demolition tool, to break the rocks into pieces. First I drill no more than 8 inches from the desired crack path through the boulder. Then mix Dexpan with water according to the instructions, then pour into the boreholes. After continuously drilling 3-4 holes, the carbide tip came off. I don't think this product is suitable for rock drilling. I have returned the item and…

Bought the latest Bosch rotary hammer/drill at half price.

Bought the latest Bosch hammer drill/drill at half price. Didn't know if this new star holder end would work with this old tool model. It works and works just as well as the old hex end receiver bits. Used to drill holes in an old foundation to showcase it from an expensive engine. The older boys couldn't believe I didn't need a jackhammer. Attention: During drilling, occasionally lift the hammer to remove the dust from the hole, otherwise the drill will get stuck.
