Snap shank for electric drill parts & accessories

This particular size "4" has only been used a few times where the stem broke/separated from the head while drilling the porch wall while installing the creep vents.

Pros
  • For drilling in masonry/concrete
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This creates a hole.

Works great. Used in a hammer drill to drill 8 holes in 10" concrete. Didn't even show much wear. I think he'll do quite a bit before he needs to be replaced.

Pros
  • Wavy design provides more efficient power transfer to the drill for up to 40% faster drilling compared to previous design
Cons
  • Expensive

Works great - power tool parts and accessories

This Bosch rock drill drilled 2 holes in 8" concrete. Worked great. After you start the hole, you can take out the pilot drill. Not too much dust.

Pros
  • One piece shank for better power transfer
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model
