Bosch RAP7PK 7 Piece Reciprocating Blade Review

The wood blades are fine but the hacksaw dulls fairly quickly after 2 cuts. I applied cutting lubricant to the second metal blade and it still dulled. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but Bosch didn't generally supply their blades for cutting metal, even the most expensive household stock blades will break after a cut in medium gauge metal.

If you have a saber saw with a comfortable blade adjustment lever, then this set is for you. Bosch stands for high quality and a very reasonable price. The best part is that I can toss the package in my tool bag and I have a reciprocating saw blade for almost any use. Pull one out and insert the other in seconds and they're damn good quality.

The blades themselves are good Bosch quality with a wide range of uses. I especially appreciate the longer wooden blades. The packaging deserves a special mention because of the horror. The package could easily have been a reusable blade sheath. Instead, you're likely to cut yourself opening it or on the sharp edges when it's open. The surprisingly silly design contrasts sharply with the smart design of the tools themselves.

I bought the original blades for my City of Wisconsin named items, but I found their power tools much better than their supplies and accessories. Disappointed with the blades, screwdriver bits and drill bits mentioned, I decided to give them a try. The blades are written to mean "wood with nails" and it's true! I haven't worn any yet, although I don't use them every day. Bosch has always been great quality and worth the extra price.
