The lasers won't stay.

I was very happy about it. I had a contractor where I work and he had this model. Worked great. I used it there and I really liked it. Ooooh, I bought one. I bring it home and am happy that it is being used, so I charge it with batteries and turn it on. At first I was happy. After a few seconds, the laser disappeared, then returned, left, and so on and so on. I replaced the batteries because I thought the batteries that came with it were no longer good. I put in new batteries TWICE but I still…

Okay, but the feature listed is missing.

I had to return this layer. The level does not have a manual mode as stated in the description. In terms of functionality, it's the level of pushing the envelope that's really good. Well built. I gave it 4 stars and it might have deserved 5 but as the Bosch site also mentions manual mode I can't give it a 5 star rating that would make you believe you will receive the product described. Besides, you can use it. sloping, but you've put up with an uneven board. The mount that comes with it is…

Good value for money. Worked as expected. NOT for full sunlight.

I purchased this laser level to install 6 inch tongue and groove cedar planks on both sides of a 6 foot wide interior T-door. I saw similar levels being used by contractors on our tanning project and knowing it probably wouldn't work well in bright sunlight I decided to install it in the tanning bed on the ladder steps at dusk and reference marks on either side of the T-door at graduated heights. In this application it worked great, projecting a beam that was easily 6 feet wide. I particularly…

Invest in quality! Very satisfied

I bought two of these to use in my screen printing business. I use them for alignment and they help me place my clothes in the right place when I print my logo for consistency. I am very satisfied with the durability and quality of these devices. They flash, although not at a high rate, which bothered me at first (since I use covert), but eventually I got used to it and was actually glad that it wasn't constantly rattling on me. The lasers are very bright and work great for me. There's an auto…

an essential tool if you ever work from home

I used this level to build some shelves around my house. Of course you don't need this if you're a seasoned handyman, but as with anything, the right tools in the right hands will make the job that much quicker and easier. I didn't have to use this to build my shelves, but the prospect of measuring and aligning everything correctly and to specification would have made my job ten times longer, required more effort, and had more room for error. I highly recommend this if you hang a lot of…

Disappointed with this Bosch Laser Level

I'm a bit disappointed with this Bosch Laser Level. I expected more from Bosch. The sanitary facilities are fine. A bright clear line and very noticeable. Sufficient scan length. The level line is very disappointing. Short. And the brightness drop on the right is so bad it's almost useless except in a dark room. More like a half horizontal line. I took it outside tonight after the sun went down so it was dark enough to display on my garage door. I've attached pictures from there. upper door…

Satisfactory device Poor attachment

The level seems to be good, made of heavy plastic and molded rubber parts. The laser is bright indoors and accurate enough for my needs. However, the manual mode is not what I expected. I thought that there is a manual switch that blocks the laser and can tilt the device in any direction. But the only way to switch to manual mode is to tilt the unit sideways until the laser unit touches the walls inside. Only then can the laser be tilted at will. The laser will then flash intermittently…
