Works great with power tools and hand tools

A ton of PVC material sideboard has been cut so far. These blades worked great. The landing page is flawless. Also, I cut some luxury vinyl floors and got the same results. Descending cuts will definitely give a sharper line than say wood or metal. I believe that cutting laminate will give you a quality result based on my experience with these blades.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No instructions

DON'T CUT CERAMIC TILES

useless. I usually like Bosch blades, but this item - the packaging says "ceramic" and other hard materials - will not cut regular ceramic bathroom tile. If I pressed hard on the saw blade, there would be a tiny dent in the tile less than 1/16 inch deep after about 30 seconds. It's useless. Bathroom/kitchen tile is a pretty common form of ceramic that people want to cut and this blade won't be able to cut it.

amazing for carbon fiber

I just finished about 30 feet of 1/8 thick carbon fiber with intricate curves. I have used diamond coated blades in the past. Diamond blades work, but this blade turns corners much better, cuts faster and with less effort. The blade shows no wear after 30 feet. The diamond wears well too, but the diamond blade often forms epoxy residue from the bond in my baskets. There were no warts on this blade. and just to state the obvious. The teeth of a conventional steel blade disappear into a carbon…

Great IDEA but poor execution

I had high hopes for this disc when doing a 1500 square foot laminate project on my first floor. I use Pergo 12mm premium laminate (very hard) and it eats the blades like popcorn. This product has a special tooth design, 50% down and 50% up, normal jigsaw blade all the way down. The concept behind this design is to minimize EDGE chipping due to opposing teeth (teeth facing the wood have a cleaner cut). Even with a thicker laminate, only one side of the blade's opposing teeth will cut and still…

All three discs used could not cut a 22x33 hole. Pretty sad.

I bought these blades primarily because a reviewer said they cut Corian like a hot knife through butter. It must have been soft butter! I carved a Corian double bowl that weighs about 90-100 pounds. I replaced it with stainless steel. I ended up using regular metal and wooden blades and they did a great job. There's a lot of talk about the importance of cutting Corian, but I've also tried the Swasall with a DeWalt metal cutting blade. I also used a dremel with a metal cutting wheel to cut…

High quality laminate blade

I used this blade to cut 7mm thick laminate. I cut about 25 linear feet of laminate with this blade for a total of 330 square feet. It has lost neither its sharpness nor its effectiveness. It had good corner cut control and did not split the laminate. Note that this was a very poor quality laminate, I would expect it to do even better for a higher quality laminate. It can also do double duty for wood, vinyl, plastic, etc., keeping it in my shop for future use. I noticed a neat feature, the…
