🔪 BOSCH T313AW3: Premium 6-Inch T-Shank Jig Saw Blades for Soft Materials - Pack of 3 Review

This year I had two big projects that involved cutting a lot of rigid foam insulation. I had 4″ thick sheets that needed to be cut to the correct width. I was very happy to use this product because on my first project I used a circular saw and a table saw which worked great except for tons of "dust". I had to make each cut twice. They connect, bend, bend in the foam. Maybe good for 1" or thinner hard insulation, but useless for 2"+

These blades are designed to cut polyisocyanate and styrofoam. They work great. No mess. It's not easy to keep a straight line, but it works better than a hacksaw blade, a pruning saw, a special table saw blade for insulation, or a razor blade. I believe they are only sold in packs of three. I only needed one. And spicy too. So the other two will never get used to it. I think my only complaint is that I had to buy three. Highly recommended.

I've only used these discs once but they suit my needs well. I had a rubber mat from a previous truck and wanted to cut it to fit the new truck. The carpet can be 3/8 inch thick and fairly dense. I put this blade in my jigsaw and cut about 7.5 to 8 feet of mat with no problems. I can't say how long the edges will hold up over time, but it worked fine for what I needed. The blades are considerably longer than a standard jigsaw blade but are generally manageable.

Having recently moved to a new house and having to do so much online shopping, we have a constant mountain of boxes to sort and recycle every week. This sharp-edged jigsaw blade cuts through them like a hot knife through butter, allowing you to smash boxes to any size you want. You can even use this blade to cut crates into playhouses for your cat! Highly recommended if you already own a cordless jigsaw with T-shank blades.

These blades are great! I lost my first set I bought so I ordered more. I used just one of these to carve a five foot long truck out of 2 inch thick foam board for a Christmas decoration and it had enough foam left over to make the fenders and rocker panel giving it a three dimensional look. Particles like a saw blade. It came out fantastic and the blade made all the curves and sharp corners with my jigsaw. I plan to use the blades for all future styrofoam projects!
